Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be considered
1. Tribal Enrollment:
Must be an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation (Certificate of Indian Blood required).
2. Field of Study:
Must be pursuing a degree in agriculture or natural resources.
3. College Enrollment:
Must be currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university for the upcoming academic year.
4. Academic Standing:
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
5. Personal Statement:
Submit a 500–750 word essay addressing:
• Your background and connection to agriculture
• How your education will benefit your community and the Navajo Nation
• Your career goals in the agricultural field
6. Recommendation Letter:
Provide one letter of recommendation from a professor, academic advisor, employer, or community leader.
7. Transcript:
Submit an official or unofficial transcript from your current college or university.
8. Resume:
Include a current resume highlighting academic achievements, leadership roles, community service, and relevant work experience
